Today, I'd like to share with you guys one of the daily essentials that I must have in my bag.
As you know, I'm not a morning person.
So whenever I have to go out early in the morning, I will feel uncomfortable because of the sunlight. I actually do feel like a vampire sometimes because the sunlight kinda irritates me. lol
Therefore, my sunglasses will always be with me to protect my eyes.
Sunglasses are really important to me as it can also be one of the best accessories for me to simply match it with any outfits!
Especially during the days when you have sore eyes, terrible eye bags or when you're not wearing any make up, just pick up your sunglasses. It will definitely spice up your casual day out as sunglasses can do the trick ;)
Most importantly, it can help to cover my dark circles.
I can't leave my house without covering my dark circles with concealer, but on lazy days, I just grab my sunglasses and ciao. Haha
In this post, I'll be sharing a few types of sunglasses design for women to wear on their lazy weekends out in style.
Wear it like this model to create a really cool and fashionable look for yourself.
If you think that sunglasses aren't enough, wear a hat to give that sophisticated style ;)
Personally, I really like the cat-eye sunglasses as it creates a very sexy and elegant aura of a woman.
But too bad it doesn't suit my face shape :(
However, I really do recommend it to girls out there who has a suitable face shape for the cat-eye sunglasses. You will definitely not regret for having one in your collection!
Who doesn't love leopard prints? It's a must-have in every girl's wardrobe.
After so many inspirations, here's a picture of me......
I took this picture last year when I was at Malacca with my boyfriend.
Although I was in the car, but still, the sunlight was really bright, I just had to put on my sunglasses.
It really helps a lot because I won't have to squint my eyes anymore. Say bye bye to eye strain!
No one can ever look sloppy with a pair of sunglasses on.
When you look good, you will feel good.
So just put on your sunglasses and let the sunlight shines on you like a supermodel.
If you know me, I've been going to Penang almost every year with my boyfriend.
But it's different this time because I'm finally going there with my bestie, Crystal! :D
We study together, we hang out together, we do a lot of things together, but we've never really go to a trip together, except for Port Dickson.
So this time we thought, why not?
We've planned about this trip for quite long, but the timing wasn't right.
Both of us had things came up last minute, so we had to postponed it.
And then just suddenly on Thursday night, I texted her.
"Hey, let's go on this Saturday."
"Let's go!"
It's just really spontaneous. I booked the hotel, packed, then off we go on Saturday morning.
Haha.
Really really glad that I have met this girl. I love spontaneous people.
And of course, she's fun.
She drove all the way to Penang and all the way back to KL.
Must be tired for her, awww. But she kept saying it's okay.
See how kind she is?
On the first night, we went to Pulau Tikus market for our dinner.
I will absolutely go there again because I really like the lok lok somehow. Haha
Pulau Tikus Market Jalan Pasar, Penang, 11200. Opening hours: Daily 6PM - 12AM
We had lots of fun together during this trip.
It was really relaxing. We chilled by the beach.
We ate, and ate, and ate.
From day to night, we never stopped. Really.
Lots of selfies.
Look at my funny girl. Hahaha
Love this shot.
Awkward me, at the beach.
There was no rush in this trip, everything was really smooth.
We checked in to the GLOW hotel.
GLOW Penang
101, Jalan Macalister,
Georgetown, 11400, Penang.
Tel: 04-226 0084
It was a great stay!
Except that the walls are too thin, we can easily hear what the people in the next room were talking about.
So I guess if you're planning on something secretive, don't ever stay there. People will figure out what your plan is. Hah!
But the service was great.
We were greeted with drinks when we're there.
Arrived in the hotel room, there were two lovely lollipops as well.
Only that the parking is limited.
We had to park nearby the shop lots, but luckily we parked on Saturday night so we don't have to worry about getting fine the next day since it's Sunday. *wink
One funny incident when we arrived at the hotel was that Crystal drove a 4WD, which is big.
And then 5 minutes after we checked in to our hotel room, the receptionist called.
"Hi miss, would you mind to park your car to the back ah? Because your car is too big."
LOL!
Crystal was in the toilet when I answered the call.
I immediately told her what the receptionist said and we both really laughed our ass off about it.
We felt insulted.
Because the moment the guy saw us, he was like "Wow, you are so small size, but your car is so big."
Hahahahahahaha
Both of us then exchanged glances immediately and we were like, are you judging us? lol.
Since we don't have anything to do at night, we went for a movie on both nights.
We watched Pitch Perfect 2 and Helios.
I love Pitch Perfect 2! It was really amazing, especially the last part.
And I was superrr excited to watch Helios because Shawn Yue is in it! Super handsome. Janice Man was looking so hot as well.
We had our early dinner at China House, the one which is famous for its cake, I assume?
However, both of us were disappointed because the service was terrible.
Seems like the waiter didn't really wanna serve us. Ugh.
Foods are limited, not really a fan for their cakes, it made us quite jelak.
It was really expensive as well.
Both of us only ordered two cups of coffee, two slices of cakes, and a mashed potato.
The bill came up with a total of around RM100.
So, there wouldn't be a second trip to that cafe anymore.
Then, we had to take our supper at some kopitiam opposite our hotel after that because we weren't full.
We are even more satisfied with the char kuey teow and curry mee that we had there. lol
Back at our hotel room.
She loves my camera so much she kept taking selfie with it even when I was showering.
Hahahaha
Then, we checked out from our hotel the next day to enjoy our brunch at Ferringhi Coffee Garden.
Both of us went there once, only that we went there with our friends. Haha
We love the environment there, as it is full of orchids, make us feel really close to nature.
Different from the usual cafe that we have in KL.
This one is really chilling.
Look at the glasses.
It's a must to selfie at such lovely environment.
Baked Sausage Roll RM18.80 with Scrambled Eggs RM6 and Beef Bacon RM5
Eggs Benedict RM20.80
Me being picky, as usual.
Not even ready yet. Hahaha
I have no idea what I was looking at. A bird?
When I was too tired to pose anymore. lol
My laughing buddy.

After the trip, I have fallen in love with my bestie's playlist that I actually asked her to transfer the entire music to me. Haha.
She was playing Korean songs during the whole trip, and it feels good, like a really good holiday mood.
Mine has been really busy and tired, eventhough I'm just staying at home most of the time.
I'm keeping myself occupied lately so that I don't at least feel useless and lifeless with not doing anything. Haha
So, what I've been up to?
Friends keep telling me that they don't see me so much on Instagram, they told me I should update more because it feels like I've been disappeared for a while. lol
Therefore, I'm trying to update my Instagram every single day if I could.
Because sometimes I just don't know what caption to write, and I'll edit my pics nicely until late night, then I decided that nah, it's too late. gotta sleep. let's just post it tomorrow. and tomorrow I just forget about it. crap.
And previously I've said that I don't want to abandon my blog again, so here I am.
I've been reading a lot. In fact I'm so into reading that I stayed up late night to finish up a book.
Then I'd wake up earlier to continue if I haven't finished it yet.
I'm obsessed with books.
Reading can somehow makes me feel alive. It makes me feel as if I just went through what the characters have gone through.
You may think that I'm weird in some kind of way, but that's what books make me feel. And I love it.
I've bought the novel, The Perks of Being a Wallflower.....
When I was typing this, something just fell.. from a tree. It was so loud.
I went outside to see what was it, but I don't notice anything. Hmmmm
Anyway, back to The Perks of Being a Wallflower, I've finally read it, after so long.
What can I say?
Mad? Disappointed? Yeah, sort of.
I'd like to keep the review for the next post as I have plenty to say about it.
It makes me kinda mad after reading that novel, I don't know why, but I just am.
The weather has been really terrible lately.
It's so so so hot that I had to wake up sweating, and I couldn't seem to get back to sleep anymore.
I wish I have an air-cond in my bedroom.
In case you're wondering why I don't have any, long story short, my dad disagrees on having air-cond in our rooms. So yeappp
This is basically how I feel most of the time.
That's all for today.
I'm gonna edit some videos that I took at Port Dickson during Valentine's Day, hopefully it will be done by this week.
Then, I will organise my pictures and edit them, hopefully I'll manage to blog about it as well.
After that, I guess I'm gonna do some reading. More reading, of course.
Probably I'll write more.
Oh yes, please do follow me on Instagram if you haven't done so.
I've decided to hide all my previous posts and start blogging once again because...
1) Most of the pictures couldn't be loaded in my blog, which I don't know why.
2) I'm damn free right now, all I've been doing is just staying at home, eat, sleep, watch TV, REPEAT.
3) I just feel like blogging again.
And hopefully this time, I won't go missing for years again and abandon my blog.
Half of my 2012 is gone.
I don't really remember what I've been doing, but this semester is pretty rush.
Assignments took most of my time.
I can't wait to finish up everything and enjoy my 1 month holiday on August.
It's gonna be awesome, at least I'll make it FUN.
